For those of you who do not know me, I am a Professional Makeup Artist, Hair Stylist and business owner currently living in beautiful Cape Town.
I've recently accomplished one of my biggest dreams, being chosen as one of 40 winners worldwide to join Pat McGrath for her Masterclass backstage at Milan Fashion Week 2017. Having worked at the Versace show and Dolce & Gabbana show, where I got to personally do Pixie Lott's Makeup.
I began my journey as a makeup artist and hair stylist studying at The Makeup Issue in Cape Town, which then lead me to work for global brands such as Makeup Forever and MAC Cosmetics. I gained so much insight into the world of retail, product knowledge, and working backstage at fashions shows.
I then completed an Advanced Hair Styling course with Merle Titus, gaining more detailed knowledge about hair.
In October 2018 I started my own business, developing my own line of cruelty free makeup brushes called Tash Pops. This has always been one of my biggest dreams and I hope to expand my product line in the future. You can visit my online shop at www.tashpops.com
I have decided to take on freelancing full time and sprinkle some makeup dust onto the industry and make a name for myself. I am excited to showcase my work through my website, and I hope this gives you an understanding of who I am. I have been truly blessed to have a great support system, and people who believe in me, and I hope that my work can inspire you.
